Agartala: June 06: The state government is determined to bring back work culture in various departments in Tripura. This is what Minister Sudhanshu Das claimed when he suddenly visited the head office of Tapashili Jati Kalyan Daptar on Tuesday. He ordered strict action against four workers for not coming to the office on time. He ordered to issue temporary suspension to one of the four and show cause notice to the other three.

He added that it has already been decided to continue working in the office from 10 am to 5:30 pm. It has also issued a notification to appear in various government offices at ten in the morning.

He said, today at around 11 o’clock Tapashili went to the Jati Kalyan office and found out that three government workers did not come to the office on time. Moreover, another worker has not been coming to the office regularly for the past three months. Therefore, show cause notices were issued against three workers and suspension was ordered against the other worker.

He claimed that bad culture will not be tolerated in government offices. It is not allowed to take decisions on public welfare only sitting in the office. To implement it, importance should be given to the work of government employees from the minister. He warned that such operations will continue in the coming days.
