Minister Bikas Debbarma Enforces Strict Measures for Punctuality in Government Offices

Agartala: July 22: The state government remains committed to providing facilities to the public, as demonstrated by Minister Bikas Debbarma’s unexpected visit to the Director of Travel Welfare Office and TWD Office today. During his visit, Minister Bikas Debbarma ordered strict action against nine workers who were absent from the office on time.

Minister Devarbma has mandated a one-day salary deduction for the nine workers and issued a notice of suspension. He emphasized that the office hours have been set from 10 am to 5:30 pm, and his visit at 10:20 am revealed the absence of the nine workers.

Bikas Debbarma stated that such behavior would not be tolerated, stressing the importance of government employees’ dedication to their duties. He warned that similar inspections would continue in the future to ensure adherence to office protocols and to maintain a culture of punctuality and responsibility.
