Agartala: April 23: A recent militant attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has raised significant concerns about national security and stability. CPI(M) Politburo member and opposition leader Jitendra Choudhury strongly condemned the incident, describing it as a major challenge to the country’s safety.

Choudhury criticized the government’s approach, stating that terrorism persists despite the temporary peace observed after Jammu and Kashmir’s reorganization as a Union Territory. He emphasized the importance of addressing the root causes of terrorism through political solutions and fostering unity among peace-loving citizens.
