Agartala: May 21: In a recent administrative reshuffle under the state’s Education Department, several Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) and Head Masters (HMs) have been transferred to new postings.
According to the official order, Md. Selim, OSD of Secondary Education, has been moved to Boxanagar Class XII School, Sonamura. Madhumita Nath, also OSD of Secondary Education, has been transferred to Champaknagar Class XII School, Jirania, while Babita Majumder, OSD of Secondary & Elementary Education, has been posted to B.R. Ambedkar High School, Joynagar, Agartala.
Basanti Bhattacharjee, the outgoing HM of B.R. Ambedkar High School, has been reassigned to Takarjala High School, Jampuijala. Prajit Sarkar, IS cum OSD Elementary, will now serve as Inspector of Schools, Sadar. Mandipa Gon Choudhuri, Sr. Lecturer cum OSD to SCERT, has been posted to DIET Agartala, while Dulal Chandra Debnath, HM cum OSD to SCERT, moves to Umakanta Academy.
The reshuffle also affects Umakanta Academy’s current HM, Rajesh Debbarma, who is now posted to Vidyanagar HS School, Kailashahar. Sujit Chakraborty, HM cum OSD to SCERT, will join Shishu Bihar HS School, Agartala, replacing Nibir Sen, who becomes OSD at SCERT.
Additionally, Dipak Sinha, HM cum OSD SCERT, has been assigned to Birendranagar HS School, Jirania. Ashesh Datta, Sr. Lecturer DIET cum OSD to SCERT, will also serve at DIET Agartala. Debashish Roy, IS cum OSD to SCERT, has been transferred to Khowai as Inspector of Schools, and Debasish Pal, AHM of Birendranagar HS School, will now serve as OSD at SCERT.
In a separate order by Additional Secretary N.C. Sharma, Bibhasbrata Datta has been transferred to Manu English Medium HS School, Sabroom, while Subrata Bhattacharjee has been posted as OSD to the Directorate of Secondary Education.
