Agartala: Sept 19: The Food Department, in collaboration with the Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer, conducted a joint raid in Maharajganj market today, revealing widespread irregularities. An official has confirmed that the district administration will take legal action against the shopkeepers involved.

During the raid, various wholesale shops were inspected, and the prices of essential items such as mustard oil, potatoes, and onions were scrutinized. Numerous discrepancies were found in the pricing of these items. Additionally, the accuracy of food item prices in several shops was verified.
