Kharge approves new committee of Pradesh Congress in Tripura

Agartala, January 7: All India President Mallikarjun Kharge sealed the list of members of the new committee of Tripura Pradesh Congress. KC Venugopal, the party’s All India General Secretary, announced the news in a statement on Sunday. In this statement, the names of the Vice-Presidents, General Secretaries, Secretaries, Treasurers, Executive Members and District Presidents of the newly appointed Province Congress Committee have been published.

There are 6 Vice-Presidents in the new Provincial Congress Committee. They are Ashok Debbarma, Prithvi Dev, Srishmohan Das, Shantiranjan Debnath, Shankar Malla and Madan Saha. Besides, a total of 7 persons including Prashanta Sen Chowdhury, Dilip Kumar Dev, Tarun Saha, Maitri Dev, Shabd Kumar Jamatia, Milan Kar and Abdul Bachit Chowdhury have been appointed as General Secretary.

In the new committee, 19 people have been appointed as secretary, one as office secretary and one as treasurer. A total of 41 people have been appointed as executive members. Among them are several top leaders of Pradesh Congress like Sameer Ranjan Barman, Sudip Roy Barman, Gopal Chandra Roy, Birjit Sinha, Dibachandra Rankhwal. Also, a total of 9 people have been newly appointed as district presidents of different districts.
