JRBT results to be announced on Sep 7-8

Agartala: August 31: The results of the JRBT Group D recruitment will be announced in September. This was announced at a press conference today by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, after a crucial cabinet meeting yesterday.

The Tourism Minister informed that the salaries of SPOs (Special Police Officers) in the state have been increased. From now on, the salary of SPOs will be increased to Rs 12,000. This will incur an additional expenditure of Rs 2,48,58,369 for the state government.

He further informed that 916 new police constables will be recruited under the Home Department. Additionally, 51 posts will be filled in the Tourism Department. He mentioned that the necessary approval has been obtained from the finance department for these recruitments. Chowdhury also stated that the damage caused by the severe floods in the state has increased to approximately Rs18 billion
