Agartala: Feb 21: Tripura’s ruling coalition partner, Tipra Motha, is facing increasing allegations of corruption within its ranks. A section of the party’s workers has been accused of being involved in corrupt activities. To address the issue, former Tipra Motha supremo and MDC Pradyot Kishore Debbarman has assigned key party workers the responsibility of implementing measures to combat corruption. He also urged them to avoid engaging in corrupt practices, emphasizing that the party’s primary objective is the development of the Tiprasa community.

In an audio message released today, Pradyot expressed concern about the growing corruption within Tipra Motha. He noted that despite his efforts in Delhi to promote the Tiprasa community’s development, he has not seen similar efforts to combat corruption in Tripura.

Pradyot highlighted the importance of honesty and credibility, stating that money alone cannot bring happiness. He urged the party leaders and workers to oppose those involved in corruption within the ADC, warning that corruption would harm the Tiprasa community in the future. He emphasized that staying silent will not resolve the issue and called for a more vigorous fight against corruption.

Pradyot reiterated his advice to the party’s staunch workers to steer clear of corruption, reminding them that the party’s sole aim is the development of the Tiprasa community.
