Agartala, June 02: On Sunday, a felicitation ceremony was held at the Agartala Town Hall to recognize the achievements of meritorious students from secondary and higher secondary schools. The event, organized by Baradowali Mandal, saw Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha felicitating the students.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Saha emphasized the pivotal role of education in shaping an individual’s life. “Education is the pillar that provides stability,” he said. “With a strong educational foundation, one can weather any storm that comes their way.”

Dr. Saha urged students to not only focus on academic studies but also explore other educational avenues, including sports. “The youth are the future of our country and state,” he stated. “Educated teachers and parents must guide their development.”

Highlighting the state government’s vision, Dr. Saha expressed his commitment to making Tripura the best state. He encouraged talented individuals to contribute to their home state rather than seeking opportunities abroad. “We study not just for personal growth but also to uplift our society, state, and nation,” he asserted.

In addition to the Chief Minister, Mayor of Agartala Pur Nigam Deepak Majumder and councilors from various wards under the Baradowali assembly constituency attended the program. The ceremony celebrated excellence in education and underscored the importance of nurturing young minds for a brighter future.
