Election Update: BJP Dominates Tripura with Strong Leads

Agartala: June 04:  In a significant turn of events, BJP candidates are surging ahead in both seats in Tripura, establishing a commanding lead. Here are the details from the constituencies:

  1. West Tripura Constituency:
    • Biplab Kumar Deb (BJP): 1,47,899 votes
    • Ashish Kumar Saha (Congress and Indy Alliance): 45,605 votes
    • Biplab Kumar Deb leads by an impressive margin of 1,02,294 votes.
  2. East Tripura Constituency:
    • Maharani Kriti Devi Debbarman (BJP): 1,28,633 votes
    • Rajendra Riang (CPM and Indy Alliance): 48,217 votes
    • Kriti Devi Debbarman maintains a substantial lead of 80,420 votes.
