Election Commission Announces By-Election Schedule for Ramnagar Assembly Constituency

Agartala: Mar 16: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has unveiled the schedule for the by-election in the Ramnagar assembly constituency of Tripura. This announcement comes alongside the dates for by-elections to the Lok Sabha and various state legislative assemblies, as well as the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland.

The ECI has outlined the timeline for the by-election process, the official notification for the Ramnagar by-election will be issued on Wednesday, March 20. Aspiring candidates can file their nomination papers until Wednesday, March 27, the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on Thursday, March 28. Candidates can withdraw their nominations until Saturday, March 30, voters will head to the polls on Friday, April 19. The final results will be declared on Tuesday, June 4.The Election Commission ensures that the entire by-election process will be completed by June 6.
