Agartala: Aug 07:     Due to heavy rain the road communication on Amar Pur- Udai Pur has been affected today. As a result of the heavy rains throughout the day, traffic flow was disrupted due to fallen trees in Matrangi area of Amarpur Udaipur road. The heavy lines of stopped vehicles were found on both directions of the road. After a long time of the administration’s excuse, the traffic movement was finally normalized by the efforts of the Amarpur forest workers.  As per the report, due to heavy rains throughout the day on Monday, a big tree fell on the main road in Matrangi area and fully blocked the road causing traffic to fall, electricity poles collapsed, and commuters from ordinary vehicles were in great disturbance.  When the news reached the sub-divisional forest department after the traffic was blocked for several hours, the forest workers rushed to the spot and cut the trees and normalized the traffic.
