Drug worth Rs 10 lakhs recovered

Agartala, December 11: BSF’s 133 Battalion conducted operations at various places to create a drug-free Tripura. Yesterday, in Srimantpur area, 1,550 Yaba tablets were seized, along with various intoxicants. In that operation, a total of 10 lakh 11 thousand 290 rupees worth of intoxicants were recovered.

BSF said in a statement that 133 Battalion of BSF has conducted operations in various places to create a drug-free Tripura. In that operation, drug paraphernalia including 1,550 Yaba tablets were seized from Srimantpur area. The market value of the seized Yaba tablets is estimated to be Rs 7,75,000. A total of Rs 10 lakh 11 thousand 290 worth of drugs was recovered in that operation. He said that such operations will continue in the future.
