Crime rate by 30% reduce under BJP rule: J P Nadda

Agartala: Mar 09: BJP All India President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda addressed a public meeting at Swami Vivekananda Maidan to mark the second anniversary of the second BJP government in Tripura. During the event, he highlighted the reduction in the state’s crime rate by 30% under BJP rule and commended the government’s efforts in building a drug-free Tripura.

Shri Nadda emphasized the transformation in the political culture of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the BJP government prioritizes serving the people and providing government facilities to the most marginalized sections of society. He also noted the extensive development in Tripura, including advancements in education, health, agriculture, communication systems, and internet services, under the leadership of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha.

 

He announced two new schemes by the Tripura government: the Chief Minister’s Kanya Atmanirbhar Scheme and the Chief Minister’s Balika Samriddhi Yojana Scheme. The latter involves a bond of Rs 50,000 for every girl child born in a BPL family, which will mature to Rs 10 lakh at the age of 18. The former will provide scooties to 140 students from Tripura Madhyamik Shiksha Parshad and CBSE ICSE Boards.

 

Shri Nadda also unveiled a booklet showcasing the public welfare initiatives undertaken by the BJP government over the past two years, expressing gratitude to the people of Tripura for their continued trust and support.
