Agartala September 16: CPIM raised allegations of irregularities in publication of JRBT merit list. CPIM seeks clarification from the state government and JRBT authorities in this regard. Convenor of Left Front Narayan Kar made a complaint about this in a press conference held at the CPIM state office on Saturday. He said, after the publication of the JRBT merit list, it was noticed that the names of the youths who passed the list were not mentioned along with their home addresses. It is not clear how many are outside the state.
This has caused great doubt. He also said that 1980 names have been announced leaving 430 vacancies. And in this regard, the office says that it has not found anyone qualified. This issue has also created a lot of buzz among the unemployed people of the state. He also said that the current government had promised to provide 50,000 jobs in the first year of its establishment in 2018. But it was observed that it took more than three years for the government to release the JRBT results. In a press conference, he complained that the government is not taking any initiative to recruit teaching and non-teaching posts after having numerous vacancies. But there is no dearth of skills among the unemployed youth in the state. The government can fill the vacancies if it wants. But he said that the vacancies are not being filled. The organized press conference was also attended by former minister and CPIM leader Manik Dey and other leaders.
