Agartala: Dec 04: A procession was organized from Jagharimura area of the capital on Sunday morning demanding the establishment of rule of law and restoration of democracy in the state by the CPI(M) Banmalipur Region Committee, the procession circumambulated the various routes of the city. CPI(M) leader Amal Chakraborty strongly criticized the current situation and said that there is lack of employment in the state and people are suffering from scarcity.When people take to the streets to protest, they are attacked. He also said that on November 30, CPIM worker Sahid Mia was attacked by BJP workers during the deputation of leftists at Charilam Bazar. Five people are under treatment in hospital. This protest has been organized in protest. He also said that the march is being called today to alert the people against the fraud that the Bharatiya Janata Party has committed with the people of the state. He also said that since 2018, democracy has been destroyed in the state of Tripura. People are not able to exercise their democratic rights. People were attacked while going to vote. He urged the people to come forward and organize a larger movement to find the way to restore democracy.
