Agartala: May 07: In a recent incident, Babul Chandra Biswas, a court clerk, has come under scrutiny for allegedly accepting a substantial sum of money from the family of Bhavani Ghosh in Mohanpur. The family claims that Biswas took a total of 4 lakh rupees, purportedly on behalf of lawyer Anjan Debnath. However, Debnath denies having received any such payment.

Adding to the controversy, Biswas is also accused of withholding the land documents belonging to Bhavani Ghosh’s family. In response to these allegations, the family has filed a written complaint with the local police, seeking justice and a thorough investigation into the matter.

Authorities are now examining the evidence and statements provided by both parties to determine the truth behind these serious allegations. The case highlights the importance of transparency and accountability within the legal system, as well as the need to protect citizens’ rights against any potential misconduct by court officials.
