Agartala: Dec 11:   The Congress organized the Tripura Bachao Yatra challenging former Chief Minister Biplap Kumar Deb’s assembly constituency. In 2018, the BJP won this long-standing vacant assembly seat. But as the promises of the area have not been fulfilled in the long five and a quarter years, people are once again risking towards the Congress. A rally was organized by the Congress on Sunday.Former legislator of the area Gopal Roy was present at the forefront of the procession. He criticized the current government and said that the Congress will win the upcoming assembly elections. And will solve people’s problems by being established in government. Meanwhile, Congress leader Ashish Kumar Saha said that there is no democracy in the state, this government is violating the constitution and destroying people’s rights. People are also extremely concerned about security. So people are now walking towards change. And he expressed the opinion that the ruling party has stood in the way of people’s development. He also criticized and said that the BJP government has taken away people’s rights. Congress is seeking people’s support to overcome this situation. The presence of Congress workers and supporters in this day’s procession was quite noticeable. The procession circumambulates the various routes of the city.
