Agartala: Jan 01: The All Tripura Unorganized Workers’ Congress paid tribute to the late former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. On Wednesday, a solemn event was held at the Battala area in Agartala to honor his memory.

The ceremony was attended by Shantanu Pal, Chairman of the All Tripura Unorganized Workers’ Congress, Tamoy Roy, President of the West District Congress, and other dignitaries. Everyone present paid their respects by offering flowers at the portrait of Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Speaking at the event, Shantanu Pal expressed the deep loss felt by the organization and its members due to the passing of Dr. Singh, stating that they had lost a great guardian. He emphasized that under Dr. Singh’s leadership as Prime Minister, the country saw significant progress in various sectors, contributing to the overall development of India. The tributes reflected not only the respect for Dr. Singh’s contributions to the country but also the profound impact he had on the lives of many.

Dr. Manmohan Singh, known for his calm demeanor and economic acumen, played a pivotal role in shaping India’s economic policies and transforming the nation during his tenure as Prime Minister. The event at Battala was a heartfelt acknowledgment of his leadership and legacy.

Members of the All Tripura Unorganized Workers’ Congress gathered to commemorate Dr. Singh’s life and work, reinforcing the appreciation for his tireless efforts toward India’s development and growth during his time in office.
