Agartala: June 18: During a seminar held by the Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress at the Agartala Press Club, Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha addressed unemployment as a pressing national issue. The event saw participation from district and block presidents across the state, with discussions led by prominent Congress figures including MLA Sudeep Roy Barman and State Youth Congress President Neelkamal Saha.
The leaders criticized the current BJP government’s handling of youth employment and announced upcoming protests by the Youth Congress. Allegations of exam paper leaks and other irregularities under the current administration were also discussed. The Congress is set to hold a strategic meeting on June 18 to deliberate on a potential alliance with CPIM for the forthcoming panchayat elections.
