Barman highlighted the simplicity of tribal lifestyles and emphasized the duty to protect them, noting that around 476 million tribal people reside across 90 countries worldwide. He stated that the event aimed to ensure the safety of tribal communities and raise awareness among them.

Referring to a recent incident in Gandacherra where Parmeshwar Riyang was killed while trying to save a Bengali youth, Barman remarked that Parmeshwar was unjustly punished and that the miscreants were trying to create discord between communities.

He further stated that miscreants have no religion or caste, identifying them solely as criminals. Barman appealed to the people of Gandacherra to remain united and not let these incidents divide them.
