Agartala July 26: The All India Congress president recently announced the name of the President of the Pradesh Mahila Congress. State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha thanked All India Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for this.

He said that Sarbani Ghosh Chakraborty, the new president of Pradesh Mahila Congress, was felicitated on Wednesday. Sarbani Ghosh has been tasked by the All India Congress President to strengthen the Pradesh Mahila Congress. Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha expressed the hope that Sarbani Ghosh Chakraborty, in-charge of the Pradesh Mahila Congress, will play a major role in the self-empowerment of women in the state in the coming days. Shri Saha also said that women are being tortured in this state. And women are being subjected to brutal lust by the ruling party activists. Worryingly, Tripura has taken a special place in the country in terms of rape and murder. The new president will be responsible for the transition of women from this. And will build a movement for the protection of women and to get justice, said the Pradesh Congress president.
