It may be noted that 22.68 crore rupees from the donor ministry, 24.70 crore rupees from the state government and 20 crore rupees from SPA have been spent on the construction of this science city. Currently constructed main building has 6 exhibition halls, 2 seminar halls, 1 planetarium, 1 THD hall, 1 children activity hall. Exhibition components include Fun Science Exhibit Gallery, Astronomy, Temporary Exhibition, Biodiversity Gallery, THD Theatre, Planetarium. Also science park will be constructed here in the coming daysNCSM Director General Arijit Dutta Chowdhury said that Udaipur Science Center has become one of the leading science centers in India. The modernization work of Sukanta Academy in the state will be completed within the next 1 year MLA Mimi Mazamdar, Principal Secretary KS Shetty and Director Animesh Das of Department of Science, Technology and Environment also spoke on the occasion.
