Agartala, July 30: In an effort to strengthen the party’s organisational structure and enhance grassroots outreach, the Majlishpur Mandal on Thursday held a panchayat-level organisational meeting under the leadership of Transport and Tourism Minister and Majlishpur MLA Sushanta Chowdhury.

The meeting, held in Majlishpur, was attended by elected representatives of the Majlishpur Gram Panchayat, booth presidents, local office-bearers and party workers. The primary objective of the gathering was to review organisational activities, improve coordination among workers and chalk out strategies for strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.

Addressing the meeting, Minister Chowdhury stressed the importance of making every booth a strong and active organisational unit. He said a robust booth-level network is essential for maintaining regular contact with people and ensuring that government welfare programmes effectively reach every household.

The Minister urged party workers to intensify public outreach and work collectively to strengthen the organisation at the village and panchayat levels. He also highlighted the need to build trust among all sections of society through continuous engagement and dedicated public service.

The meeting featured detailed discussions on booth management, organisational coordination and effective communication of central and state government welfare schemes. Chowdhury interacted directly with booth presidents and local representatives, encouraging them to identify local issues, maintain close contact with residents and ensure that the benefits of government initiatives reach eligible beneficiaries without delay.

He further called for greater coordination among party workers and emphasised the importance of discipline, teamwork and regular organisational activities to reinforce the party’s grassroots base.

Reiterating the guiding principles of the government and the organisation, the Minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” continues to guide their efforts. He also referred to the principle of Antyodaya, which focuses on ensuring development and welfare for the last person in society.

“Our responsibility is to transform these ideals into action by reaching every household and serving every section of society with sincerity and dedication,” Chowdhury said.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from party workers to strengthen the organisation at the booth level, enhance public outreach and work collectively to ensure the effective implementation of welfare schemes across the Majlishpur Assembly constituency.
