Agartala, December 11: Police and BSF of Bishalgarh police station succeeded in the anti- cannabis operation. Joint forces destroyed ganja trees by raiding Gazaria area. About one lakh thirty three thousand five hundred cannabis trees were destroyed on this day.

The BSF issued a statement saying that on Monday morning, a raid was conducted in cannabis garden, which was spread over 70 kani areas in Ghazaria area of Bishalgarh. A large amount of trees have been destroyed. In a joint operation of Bishalgarh Police and Central Force jawans, Assam Rifles, the illegal cannabis trees have been destroyed. It also said that about one hundred and thirty-three thousand and five hundred cannabis plants were destroyed in that operation.
