BSF and RPF Apprehend Suspects in Separate Operations

Agartala: July 16: In two distinct operations, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) achieved significant success:

During routine border patrol, the BSF apprehended two suspicious individuals attempting to cross into Bangladesh. They were detained and questioned. The first person is Atiqur Rahman (48), a Bangladeshi citizen. The second individual, suspected of being a tout, is Arbind Das, a resident of Assam.

Acting on secret information, a joint operation by the BSF and RPF led to the arrest of two individuals at Agartala railway station. Rinku Chandra Das (18), a resident of Chittagong, and Royel Das (27), a resident of West Bengal, were taken into custody. Specific charges will be filed against the detainees as investigations continue.
