Agartala, March 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to host a public gathering tomorrow, with BJP’s all-India president and health minister JP Nadda, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, and other party leaders expected to attend. The event is anticipated to be a significant occasion, with the BJP urging the public to participate.
State BJP spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty highlighted the developmental initiatives undertaken by the BJP government over the past seven years, emphasizing their impact on rural areas and marginalized communities. He stated that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, has been working towards building a developed Tripura and India. He expressed optimism about the enthusiasm among various sections of society, including women, youth, and farmers, regarding the upcoming event.
Chakraborty also addressed allegations made by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPIM) concerning the public gathering, refuting them as attempts to create confusion. He attributed these actions to what he described as the CPIM’s long-standing political practices in the state.
The BJP spokesperson reiterated the party’s commitment to development and urged the public to join the gathering to witness the progress achieved under the current government.
