The two-day residential training camp organized by the BJP Kalyanpur Mandal under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Varg programme concluded successfully this week, with participation from more than 170 delegates, party workers, and grassroots leaders. The camp was aimed at strengthening organizational discipline, ideological understanding, and public outreach among party cadres.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from workers across different levels of the organization. Various sessions were conducted during the camp focusing on the BJP’s ideology, party constitution, organizational responsibilities, and strategies for strengthening grassroots engagement.

Addressing the closing ceremony, former Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik highlighted the importance of staying connected with the people and working towards public welfare. She said the training camp created an important platform for discussions on the party’s guiding principles and organizational values.

“The BJP’s philosophy is centered on serving the common people. Workers must stand beside the people, understand their concerns, and ensure that the benefits of development schemes reach every household,” Bhoumik said while addressing the participants.

She emphasized that political organizations can remain strong only when they maintain close relations with the public. Urging party workers to actively engage with citizens, Bhoumik said cadres have a key responsibility in spreading awareness about government welfare initiatives and development programmes implemented by both the state and central governments.

The camp also featured detailed discussions on booth-level management, organizational discipline, leadership development, and future strategies to expand the party’s presence at the grassroots level. Sessions were conducted to encourage workers to strengthen coordination and improve communication with local communities.

Several senior leaders participated in the programme, including MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury, Mandal President Nitai Bal, General Secretary Asim Debroy, and other organizational leaders. They interacted with participants and stressed the importance of discipline, teamwork, and ideological commitment in political work.

Participants described the training camp as informative and motivating. Many said the sessions helped enhance their political awareness and organizational knowledge while inspiring them to work with renewed energy and dedication.

Observers believe the programme has reinforced discipline and ideological clarity among BJP workers, while also preparing the Kalyanpur Mandal for stronger public outreach and grassroots engagement in the coming months.
