During his speech, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha emphasized the significance of Ekta Mall, comparing it to the Prime Minister’s dream project, Lighthouse, which is nearing completion. He stressed the importance of completing any initiated work and mentioned that the construction team has committed to finishing Ekta Mall within 27 months. The Chief Minister urged for an earlier completion and requested the local MLA to oversee the construction progress. He highlighted that the development of Ekta Mall would benefit both the area and society, and thus, its timely completion is crucial.

Ekta Mall is planned to feature 45 stalls, including 36 commercial stalls and 8 stalls representing different districts. The Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Agartala had requested a dedicated stall for Bangladesh, but the current situation in Bangladesh leaves this uncertain.

Other notable attendees included Minister of Industries and Commerce Santana Chakma, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumdar, MLA Minaranee Sarkar, and the Secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce.
