Assam Rifles raid in Panisagar, two arrested with 18 lakh rupees of Yaba

Special forces of Assam Rifles achieved great success in an operation in Tripura’s Panisagar. Two people were arrested with a large quantity of narcotic yaba tablets in the operation.

It has been reported that the Radhanagar Battalion of 21 Sector Assam Rifles has conducted a massive anti-narcotics operation for several days. Based on information received from intelligence sources, the battalion launched an operation in Panisagar area on Wednesday afternoon

special team Then Panisagar police arrested two drug dealers with 6000 yaba tablets worth 18 lakh rupees from Chamtila village around 3 pm with the help of police station staff. Besides, a Maruti Alto car with number TR 05 D 0618 carrying drug paraphernalia was seized.

The seized drug paraphernalia, Maruti Alto car, along with the arrested persons have been handed over to Panisagar police station for further investigation and legal proceedings. It is known that the police has started investigation after filing a case against the arrested persons under certain clauses.
