Agartala: July 12: Locals in Agartala gathered outside the city’s court on Friday, demanding swift justice in the murder case of Durga Prasanna Deb, also known as Vicky. Raju Barman, the prime accused, faces calls for his immediate hanging. The residents held placards and chanted slogans, emphasizing that Barman should not be granted bail under any circumstances.

Vicky’s wife, speaking to the media, echoed the sentiment, urging authorities not to grant bail to Raju Barman. She expressed concern that if he were released, more lives could be lost prematurely.
