Members and supporters of the Adivasi Congress marched from Congress Bhavan, passing through various city routes before submitting a memorandum to the Education Department. The event was led by Shabdakumar Jamatia, General Secretary of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee and Chairman of the Adivasi Congress Committee.

At the Education Department, representatives handed over a written deputation, requesting the inclusion of textbooks and question papers in the Roman script for Kokborok learners. The organization emphasized the importance of using the Roman script to ensure students’ right to education in their mother tongue.

Additionally, the Adivasi Congress cautioned that if their demand was not addressed promptly, they would intensify their efforts through a broader movement in the future.
