The press release emphasized that such heinous crimes against women severely undermine their dignity, safety, and empowerment, which are crucial for India’s overall development. The student body has urged the state government to take strict action against the accused.

Sanjit Saha, the state secretary of ABVP Tripura, stated that the organization will always raise its voice against the atrocities faced by women in society. He highlighted that true development of the state is possible only when women feel safe and empowered, noting that both men and women in India have equal rights in society.

Mousumi Das, the joint secretary of ABVP Tripura, echoed similar sentiments, stating that the organization will not tolerate such atrocities against women. She assured that the ABVP will remain vigilant to ensure that the culprits receive appropriate punishment.
