Addressing the gathering, Bhattacharjee underscored the importance of promoting science as a foundation for innovation and progress. He said the DNA Club would act as a catalyst for research-oriented learning, encouraging students to think beyond textbooks and engage in practical exploration. According to him, such platforms are essential to inspire young minds to develop curiosity, creativity, and analytical skills.

The inauguration event was described as well-organized and purposeful, with participation from educators, students, and distinguished guests. Speakers shared insights on the growing relevance of science and technology in shaping the future, urging students to remain inquisitive and committed to learning. The interactive nature of the programme left many students motivated to pursue knowledge with greater enthusiasm.

Bhattacharjee congratulated the school authorities and the organizing committee for their efforts in establishing the club. He praised the initiative as a “guiding light” for the younger generation, noting that exposure to scientific thinking at an early stage can significantly influence career choices and intellectual growth. He also expressed optimism that similar initiatives would be replicated across other institutions, widening access to quality science education.

The DNA Club is expected to serve as a hub for activities such as experiments, workshops, and discussions, fostering a culture of inquiry among students. By creating an environment that supports hands-on learning and innovation, the initiative aligns with broader efforts to prepare students for the demands of a knowledge-driven and technology-oriented society.

With increasing emphasis on STEM education nationwide, the launch of the DNA Club reflects a growing recognition of the need to equip students with critical thinking skills and scientific temper, ensuring they are better prepared for future challenges.
