Tripura has earned national acclaim as three students from the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT), Narsingarh—Anjita Paul, Himadrita Das, and Janmajoy Das—secured the second position in the prestigious “Design for Bharat” track at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026. Their innovative ideas, strong problem-solving approach, and creative vision helped them stand out among thousands of participants from across the country, bringing pride and recognition to the state.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 was held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from January 9 to 12, 2026. It marked the national-level culmination of one of India’s largest youth engagement initiatives. More than 50 lakh young people participated in the multi-stage selection process, out of which 1,500 shortlisted young leaders were invited to the grand finale to present their ideas and solutions.
The event aimed to provide a national platform for India’s youth to contribute their vision for a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India), in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-term developmental roadmap. The dialogue featured thematic discussions, competitive tracks, and interactive sessions with eminent domain experts, ISRO astronauts, policymakers, and renowned sports personalities. The closing ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who interacted with the young leaders and encouraged them to actively participate in nation-building.
The achievement of the TIT students was widely appreciated. Tripura’s Minister for Power, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Ratan Lal Nath, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winners. “Heartiest congratulations to Anjita Paul, Himadrita Das, and Janmajoy Das of Tripura Institute of Technology, Narsingarh, for securing second position in the ‘Design for Bharat’ track at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026,” he said.
“Their innovation, creativity, and dedication truly reflect the spirit of a progressive India and have brought immense pride and honour to Tripura. I wish them continued success and many more milestones in the future,” the minister added.
The accomplishment highlights the growing potential of Tripura’s youth and their ability to compete and excel on the national stage.
