The Governor began his visit at the Kath Baisya Adventure Tourism Park under Subhash Nagar Panchayat. During the inspection, he assessed the tourism infrastructure and discussed its potential to boost local livelihoods. He also held interactions with farmers and members of self-help groups (SHGs), where issues related to agricultural production, marketing challenges, and benefits of various government schemes were thoroughly discussed. Farmers highlighted their needs for better market access and enhanced support systems, while SHG members shared their experiences in income generation and skill development.

Later, Governor Reddy visited the closed Border Haat at Krishnanagar, where he met farmers and traders affected by the ongoing suspension of cross-border trade. Many shared concerns about the economic impact of the shutdown on their livelihoods. Addressing these concerns, the Governor stated that the reopening of the haat depends on decisions by the Ministry of External Affairs and the prevailing political situation in Bangladesh. He assured that the matter would be communicated to relevant authorities for further consideration.

In the concluding part of his visit, the Governor inspected the 121 Battalion BSF Border Outpost (BOP) at Karimatilla. Here, he reviewed border security arrangements and interacted with BSF personnel regarding operational preparedness and challenges faced in the region.

The Governor was accompanied by District Magistrate Mohammad Sajed P., BSF Commandant Arun Mishra, SDM Abhijit Singh Yadav and other senior officials throughout the tour. The visit highlighted the administration’s continued focus on development, cross-border trade concerns, and strengthening security along the international border.
