Agartala:  Feb 08: In the Delhi Assembly elections, AAP’s defeat was inevitable, as the AAP government was mired in corruption. This was the allegation made by Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha while addressing the media today. He stated that after many years, the people of Delhi chose to bring the BJP government back to power, as the AAP government had been engulfed in corruption.

Dr. Saha emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government has delivered excellent results. He further mentioned that various exit polls had confirmed the BJP’s victory in the Delhi Assembly elections. According to him, the people of Delhi had grown disillusioned with the AAP’s governance, which led to their decision to vote for change and trust the BJP once again.

Dr. Saha’s remarks reflect a strong criticism of AAP’s tenure, citing corruption as the primary reason for their downfall. His comments also highlight the confidence and optimism within the BJP camp, as they believe that their leadership under Modi has resonated well with the voters, resulting in a favorable outcome in the elections. The Delhi electorate, according to Dr. Saha, has firmly backed the BJP’s vision for the state’s future, leaving little room for doubt about the party’s imminent victory.
