Previously, FIDCO managed customer service and bill collection for several departments under TSECL. The transition affects the Ambassa, Gandacherra, Chamanu, and Manu subdivisions under the Dhalai circle; Mohanpur, Hejambara, Bamutia, and Lefunga subdivisions under the Agartala II circle; and Sabrum and Satichandra subdivisions under the South Tripura circle.

The change comes in response to continuous complaints from consumers. TSECL has initiated efforts to improve customer service and will now be fully responsible for providing all services to consumers in the affected areas. Additionally, TSECL will handle electricity bill collections and has requested consumers to cease any transactions or official connections with FIDCO from today onwards.
