Agartala: July 10: On Wednesday, Union Minister of State for Tourism Suresh Gopi visited Niramhal, a prominent tourist center in the state. Accompanied by Minister of State for Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury and other officials from related departments, Minister Chowdhury provided an overview of various issues related to Niramhal.
During the visit, discussions centered on strategies to enhance Niramhal’s appeal and the government’s plans for achieving this goal. The Union Minister emphasized that Niramhal is among the most attractive tourist destinations, highlighting the lesser-known gems of the North Eastern region. Going forward, efforts will be made to promote tourism in the North Eastern states, including Tripura. Additionally, the Union Minister expressed intentions to visit Unkoti and Tripureshwari temples after exploring Niramhal.
Minister Sushanta Chowdhury revealed that the government has devised plans to improve Niramhal’s attractiveness. Internal enhancements are on the agenda, along with the introduction of noiseless signboards. Furthermore, discussions will take place with the Union Minister to position Niramhal prominently on the global list of tourist centers. The success of these efforts will determine Niramhal’s inclusion among world-renowned tourist destinations.
