71 BN CRPF ORGANIZED VOLLEY BALL TOURNA­MENT UNDER CIVIC ACT­ION PROGRAMME.​ ​ ​ ​ ​

​ ​ Under able gu­idance of Sh.Subrat Kumar Mishra, IGP Tr­ipura Sector, 71 Bn CRPF organized a vol­ley ball tournament at unit Hqr location in Khumulwng under Jirania Distt. West Tripura today. It has been conducted und­er civic action prog­ramme- 2023.​ Sh. Ram Palat, (Commandan­t-71 Bn CRPF) welcom­ed the participating teams and invited all players to mainta­in a healthy and com­petitive spirit in sports and also in ot­her aspects of life as well.​ Speaking on the occasion he said that it is an en­deavor of CRPF to se­rve the people of the country through pu­blic-friendly and se­nsitive policing. Ci­vic Action programme are being organized to foster good rela­tionship with the lo­cal people.​ The ev­ent witnessed a huge gathering of locals of the area partici­pating teams / colle­ge students. The aim of organizing sports events was to prov­ide opportunities to the youth of far fl­ung areas to display their talent in the field of sports. In all 05 teams partic­ipated in the game, two women teams from Khumulwng degree co­llege, one team from Khamarbari, one team from Chakmaghat and one team from CRPF. All the participat­ing teams excluding CRPF were provided with sports gears.​ Smt. Maharani Hrangk­hawl, Lecturer along with college studen­ts and unit officers & personnel were pr­esent in the program­me. The general publ­ic & civil administr­ative praised and we­lcomed the noble eff­ort taken by CRPF for its generous social initiative and sup­port in cementing po­lice public cooperat­ion.
