Agartala: Apr 06: Aiming to promote enthusiasm & interest over co-curriculum activities amidst the students on 6th April 2023, 71 Bn CRPF organized painting & essay competition in connection with Valor Day (09th April 2023) at Battalion headquarters location, Khumulwng, Jirania in West Tripura, in which 20 students from St. Govt. Degree college, Khumulwng, participated with full enthusiasm. All the participants were given acknowledgment certificates as well as special prizes were given away to the winners. Sh. Khekato Aye, (Second-In-Commandant-71 Bn CRPF) addressed the students about memories of the gallant deeds of the heroes of CRPF at Sardar Post (Runn of Kutch) on 9th April 1965 where troops of 2nd Bn CRPF repulsed the operation, “DESERT HAWK” of Pakistan Army. Smt. Maharani Hrangkhawal, Assistant Professor along with college students and unit officers & personnel attended the programme.
