71 BN CRPF ORGANIZED CAP IN KHOWAI DISTRICT.   

Agartala: Oct 19:   With the initiative of 71 Bn CRPF a generous CAP has been conducted to generate benefit for the common people. On 19/10/2023, 71 Bn CRPF, Khumulwng, holds civic action programme in Khowai district. As per the report, Under the guidance of Sh. Subrat Kumar Mishra, IGP Tripura Sector, 71 Bn CRPF, installed solar street lights with poles at various villages in Mungiakami  and Chakmaghat in Khowai district and as well as the battalion organized a football match at Mungia Bari higher secondary school. Two teams have
participated in the match, one from Mungia Bari H.S. school and another from G. Next Model
School, Hawaibari. To motivate the youths towards sports players were provided sports items by the battalion officials. Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony, Sh. Ram Palat, Comdt-71 Bn CRPF said that these newly installed solar lights will not only benefit the road passengers but
will immensely benefit the local peoples of nearby locality too. He added that it is an endeavor of the CRPF to serve the people of the country through public-friendly and sensitive policing. Civic
action programmes are being organized to foster good relations with the local people. He lauded the activities of the CRPF and said that the force is organizing various public welfare programmes like
building passenger sheds, installing deep bore well, water storage and distribution of sports
items among the youth at various places in Tripura as part of confidence building measures and will continue to do so in the near future. The programme was attended by Sh. Prasun Kanti Tripura,
SDPO Teliamura, Sh. Goutam Debbarma, (0C/PS Mungiakami) Sh. Manoj Debbarma (Principal
of Munga Bari H.S. School), Sh. B.S.Shukla, (Dy. Comdt-71 Bn), Sh.Deepak Shukla,
(Asst.Comdt-71Bn), Sh. Avijit Dutta, (Asst.Comdt-71 Bn), along with personnel from the unit and
the public from the locality area. The school administration and general public appreciated the noble work of the CRPF and thanked the battalion officials for their good contribution.
