Agartala July 21: Four accused arrested in Bishalgarh sensational kidnapping case. The arrested are Ranbir Debnath, Debakamal Bhattacharya, Suraj Nam and Prasenjit Nam. The accused were interrogated continuously from Friday morning under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Manabendra Chowdhury and SDPO Pannalal Sen of Sepahijla district. A young man named Ranveer was arrested earlier by the police. It is alleged that various crimes are happening in the area under his leadership.

The police arrested the accused under sections 365/325/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The SDP said that a complaint was received by the police on July 19 that while passing through the bypass area adjacent to the Bishalgarh block, Manojit Deb, a young man from Gautamnagar area, was beaten by three motorbikes and taken away by the miscreants. The family members rushed and filed a case at Bishalgarh police station. Then the police went to investigate and rescued Manojit and arrested the four accused. They will be taken to court. He said that the police will take the police into custody and interrogate the rest of the accused.
