Ampi, 2nd  of April 2024. With the initiative of 124 battalion CRPF 34th  Raising Day of the 124 Bn CRPF has been observed here in battalion HQ in Shalbagan with great enthusiasm and dignity. On this auspicious occasion a large number of high ranking officials and dignitaries have assembled in the programme venue and took participation in this glorious celebration. The 124 battalion commandant Mukesh Tayagi has received the guests with warm welcome. Under the supervision and better management of the battalion commandant Sri Mukesh Tyagi a splendid event management has been found to observe this 34th raising day which was beautified with miscellaneous programme  segments. The active and dedicated Jawans have contributed much to make the observation successful; a large number of battalion soldiers were found in great promptness to make  the celebration fascinating. As per  the history report, this unit had been raised on 1st April of 1991 at GC-II, CRPF Ajmer Rajasthan. Since then year after year the day is being observed with great respect and dignity as the raising day of the battalion. To accelerate the raising day celebration more significant the battalion officials have organized week long various events like tournament, blood donation camp, plantation, children entertainment event like fair including additional social works. The observation turned out into colourful in the evening where there were miscellaneous cultural programmes presented by Navodaya school students and battalion soldiers. The students have presented different kinds of community cultural dance performance and Jawans performed patriotic segments. During day time ladies and children were found happy to purchase things in the HQ ground fair. IG, Darshan Lal Gola has addressed the battalion officials & soldiers. He has  motivated them over the responsibilities of a jawan and narrated regarding the importance of the battalion Raising Day. He has thanked all the concerned 124 battalion officials who have managed this appreciable programme arrangement to observe the day. IG, Darshan Lal Gola & Sri Mukesh Tyagi jointly distributed trophies amidst the victory competitors and inspired them for their good achievement. The spectators present in the programme have appreciated the miscellaneous cultural performances presented by the school students and jawans of the 124 battalion CRPF. Bada khana for the all programme participants was served at night. Amidst the other  distinguished participants there were Sri MD Imran Mallick, DIGP, GC, CRPF, Virendra Agarwal, DIG Agartala range, Sri, T.K Hati, DIG Tripura sector, Rajesh Yadav, DIG,  Ojit Singh, deputy commandant and many other dignitaries remained present in the event.
