Out of the 2,815 arrests, 1,746 Bangladeshi nationals have been deported back to their home country. The remaining 1,069 individuals are still under various forms of detention. The Home Minister’s report highlights the ongoing efforts by the state government to address the issue of illegal infiltration, emphasizing the legal measures taken to apprehend and deport unauthorized foreign nationals. The issue of cross-border infiltration has been a significant concern for the state, and the authorities are actively working to curb such illegal activities through arrest, detention, and deportation processes.

These figures also indicate the considerable workload faced by law enforcement agencies in managing such infiltrations, with a large number of individuals still in detention. The government continues to take legal action in accordance with Indian immigration laws and is committed to addressing the issue through both prevention and legal procedures.
