Agartala: Oct 18: A young woman has gone missing from Mangalalok Matrisadan Shelter Home, located at Jagatpur Kalibari Road, Indranagar, Agartala. The shelter is operated by the Association for Social Health in India. The incident has led to conflicting claims about her whereabouts.

The girl’s mother has alleged that her daughter has been sold, prompting the girl’s guardians to rush to the shelter and accuse the authorities of wrongdoing. In contrast, the superintendent of the shelter home has stated that the girl left a written note before leaving, indicating that she had returned to her husband’s home.

The young woman, who had been married at a young age due to parental abuse, was staying at the shelter. The superintendent has denied the mother’s allegations, asserting that the girl left voluntarily and informed them in writing. Additionally, the superintendent mentioned that the girl is now 18 years old and no longer eligible for shelter.

The situation remains unclear, with both parties presenting differing accounts of the girl’s disappearance.
