Agartala March 14: The coalition government of Bharatiya Janata Party and IPFT has been sitting in the House for the second time in the recently concluded assembly elections. The government’s five-year tenure begins with 33 seats. Ahead of the Thirteenth Assembly elections, there was speculation as to who was going to be the chief ministerial face.

As expected Dr. Manik Saha won from Town No. 8 Bardowali Assembly Constituency. The Delhi High Command is pinning its hopes on Dr. Manik Saha for the Chief Ministership because he is a dentist and honest person. For five long years, there were many complaints about the functioning of the BJP-IPFT coalition government. There were many complaints against the former chief minister. Doctor Manik Saha changed the face of the chief minister 6 months before the assembly elections. After the announcement of the election results on March 2, there was a storm in the political circles about who will be the chief minister. Pratima Bhoumik was also a claimant. But Dr. Manik Saha was passed by the rich vote in the council meeting.

Modi, Shah and Nadda put their trust in Manik Saha to ensure that things were run properly for the people for five years. And Delhi did not have to think of putting a stamp on Manik Sahar’s name. Dr. Manik Saha left for Delhi after the swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister. After thanking the President, Vice-President, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, and State President, the Chief Minister stepped in front of the Rabindra Centenary Building on Tuesday at around twelve noon for the victory festival. On this day, a victory festival was held by Town No. 8 Bardowali Mandal. Majority of women were at the forefront of victory celebrations. The winning candidate of the area and Chief Minister Doctor Manik Saha participated in this victory festival.

On foot, Chief Minister along with party workers circumambulated the various routes of Agartala city from in front of the Rabindra Satabarshiki bhawan. The Chief Minister addressed the media and dedicated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s second victory to the functionaries. The Bharatiya Janata Party government was established for the second time due to the tireless work of the functionaries. He also thanked the people of the state on this day. The Chief Minister claimed that the government has worked in Tripura for the last five years on the philosophy of Pradhan Mantri Marg. Government facilities have been extended to the last person of the society. He said that the government of Bharatiya Janata Party will work with development in mind for the next five years. The chief minister was accompanied by state BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya, mayor Deepak Majumder and other leaders. On this day, the Chief Minister was seen hugging them wearing  Abir.
