On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee paid solemn tribute at the historic Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in New Delhi, honouring the supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh, the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
During the commemorative visit, Bhattacharjee offered floral tributes and bowed in reverence before the sacred shrine, remembering the unparalleled courage and martyrdom of the young Sahibzadas. He reflected on their extraordinary sacrifice, attained at a very tender age, and described it as one of the most inspiring chapters in India’s spiritual and cultural history.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhattacharjee said that the martyrdom of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh stands as an eternal symbol of bravery, unwavering faith, and moral strength. He noted that their willingness to uphold the values of righteousness and justice, even in the face of extreme adversity, continues to inspire generations across the country.
“At such a young age, their supreme sacrifice stands as a beacon of unmatched courage and steadfast belief. Their martyrdom teaches humanity to remain firm on the path of truth, justice, and courage, regardless of challenges,” Bhattacharjee said. He added that Veer Bal Diwas serves as a reminder of the need to imbibe these timeless values in daily life and public service.
