Agartala: Jan 14: A new branch of Tripura Gramin Bank was inaugurated on Tuesday in the Natun Nagar area of Agartala. The Chief Secretary of the state, J. K. Sinha, officially opened the branch and, speaking to the media afterward, emphasized the important role Tripura Gramin Bank plays in the development of the state.

Sinha stated that Tripura Gramin Bank is dedicated to the progress of Tripura and has made significant contributions to the state’s development. He highlighted that the bank has multiple branches in both urban and rural areas, ensuring that services are accessible to people across the state. With its modern infrastructure and services, Tripura Gramin Bank has won several awards for its excellence. The newly inaugurated branch, according to Sinha, will further contribute to the state’s development in the coming years.

The new branch is equipped with all modern banking facilities, ensuring improved services for the people. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, Satyendra Singh, and other senior officials. The new branch is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance its service offerings and make banking more accessible to the people of Tripura, supporting economic growth and empowerment across the region.
