Union Minister Ajay Tamta Conducts District-Level Review Meeting in Khowai

Khowai, October 24, 2024 – A district-level review meeting was held on Thursday morning at 11:30 AM in the Khowai District Magistrate’s conference hall, chaired by Union Minister Ajay Tamta. The meeting was attended by District Magistrate Chandani Chandan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Charu Barman, and officials from various departments of Khowai district.

Following the review meeting, Union Road Transport Minister Ajay Tamta addressed the media, stating that he had reviewed the implementation of various Government of India projects aimed at public welfare. The review covered key areas such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, the national highway system, health, and agriculture.

Minister Tamta emphasized the importance of identifying and addressing any shortcomings in these projects. He directed district officials to take immediate corrective actions where necessary. Additionally, he reviewed the progress of various works at the block level.

Later in the day, the Union Minister inspected the Padmabil block and National Highway 208 to assess ongoing projects and ensure their timely completion.
